North America: In the United States and Canada, summer typically runs from June to August. In the southern parts of the United States, summer can last from May to September.

South America: In most parts of South America, summer runs from December to February. However, in the northern regions such as Colombia and Venezuela there are no distinct summer months.

Europe: In Europe, summer runs from June to August in most countries, although the Mediterranean countries, such as Spain, Italy, and Greece, experience longer summers, from May to October.

Africa: In most parts of Africa, summer runs from December to February. However, in the northern regions, such as Egypt and Morocco, summer can last from May to September.

Australia and New Zealand: In Australia and New Zealand, summer runs from December to February.
